Raise a Glass. Lift a Life.
This fall, visitors to Loudoun County’s celebrated wineries are invited to raise a glass for a cause. Good Shepherd of Northern Virginia has launched its collaborative “Shelter in Every Sip” campaign with local vineyards and tasting rooms to help women and families experiencing homelessness in the region.
Now through the end of October, participating wineries across “DC’s Wine Country” will display information cards encouraging guests to donate to support Good Shepherd’s mission of providing shelter, transitional housing and wraparound services to those in crisis.

Here's How You Can Help:
Spread the Word!
You can be the reason someone finds shelter, stability, and dignity.
The more that people understand the scope of the problem and the cycle of homelessness, the more we can all work together to fix it.

The goal of this campaign is to raise money for our mission, and help uplift all members of our community.
If everyone in Loudoun County threw in 30 cents, we would surpass our fundraising goal today. No amount is too small or big to meet the basic needs of our women and families. Please donate today
Thank You to Participating Wineries!

Good Shepherd Success Stories
Good Shepherd is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I have been hired as an Assistant Director at a local school, bought my first car, and moved into an apartment of my own.

[Staying at Good Shepherd] I was able to accomplish saving money and focusing on my goals. Good Shepherd has helped me stay positive about my situation. I was able to go to my job with a sense of relief that I had a place to live and not in the car or at a hotel. I was able to change my whole outcome and view on life

I was able to clean up my credit report and save money with the escrow account. I met nice people in my roommates – very lovely ladies.

Because of Good Shepherd I know that God is with me and ordering my steps. I think of my room at the shelter as my war room because I was able to cry out to God, to talk to God and to pray to God. God strengthened me because I waited on him, and I know that he will continue to do so.
